CCCMC Delegation visit to India China Trade Centre (ICTC)

China Chamber of Commerce of Metals Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters (CCCMC), one of largest Chamber of Commerce in China having membership of more than 4150. Out of top 500 companies of China 300 are member. The trade account 37% of Chinese Import and 18.5% of Chinese Export. Delegation led by Vice Chairman Mr. Liu Yinan. Madam Qi Yan Chairperson of China Phosphate Fertilizer Industry Association was also part of delegation.
ICTC Board Member Mr. S. B. Mohapatra (Ex Textile Secretary), Mr. Amit Pandey (Director – Education and Infra & Energy), Mr. V. K. Mishra (Chairman SRC) have welcome the delegation. On the occasion Mr. Peng Gang (Economic & Commercial Counsellor of Embassy of People’s Republic of China in the Republic of India), General Manager NSIC Mr. Sunil Bali, Mr. Satvinder Singh (NSIC Technical Service Centre) were also present.
Mr. V. K. Mishra has mentioned in his welcome speech, the long relationship with CCCMC has resulted in substantial contribution to the bilateral trade between India and China. The bilateral trade has already surpassed the 60 billion US$. Top leaders of both the countries have set bilateral trade target of 100 billion US$ by 2015. He has also informed the gathering about coming events of CCCMC in China “Ferro Alloys” (13 to 15 May 2011, Xiamen, China) and delegations of ICTC to China (Canton Fair, Chinaplas 2011, South Asian Countries Commodity Fair and China ASEAN Expo).He has stressed on close communication between trade and industry communities of both countries.
Mr. Liu Yinan, vice Chairman CCCMC has mentioned in his speech that trade with India is very important for their chamber; the total bilateral trade share of CCCMC is 60% in Chinese Import. During this visit the main focus area was Fertilizers, Agro Chemicals and other Chemicals. “We had successful meetings with Indian Fertilizer Manufacturing Companies”, this visit will add new milestone in this area of trade. He was very optimistic about enhancement of trade in Agro Chemicals and other related chemicals. He has extended his warm invitation to ICTC in coming Ferro Alloys International Conference 2011 at Xiamen, China.
Mr. Peng Gang (Economic & Commercial Counsellor of Embassy of People’s Republic of China in the Republic of India) has appreciated the efforts of ICTC in the field of promotion of bilateral trade. He has encouraged ICTC members to participate in South Asian Countries Commodity Fair to take the advantage of huge Chinese market for Indian products. He has also remembered the past meetings of CCCMC delegation with ICTC.
Mr. S. B. Mohapatra the board member of ICTC has informed the gathering about possibilities in new investment area in India, especially in Agro Chemical and Petrochemicals Sectors. He has extended invitation to members for Chinaplas 2011 delegation.
Mr. Satvinder Singh, GM – NTSC has welcome the Commercial Counsellor with traditional Indian way by presenting shawl and flowers. Mr. Amit Pandey conveyed special thanks to supporting organizations especially SINOSTEEL and MESCO GROUP.
