Mr. Mishra attended the 2024 BRICS Technology Transfer Cooperation Conference at Kunming, Yunnan Province, China

On the invitation of Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, our Executive vice Chairman Mr. Vijay K. Mishra visited Kunming to attend the 2024 BRICS Technology Transfer Cooperation Conference and delivered the Keynote speech today on “India’s Advancement in Science, Technology & Innovation” & Cooperation opportunities.

The Official delegates, well-known experts on policy making, technology transfer institutions from BRICS countries have participated in the Conference.

Other session of Conference includes, Exchange and Matching Activities for Science and Technology Innovation Resources among BRICS Countries, Jointly Build the Network and Specialized Collaboration Platforms for the BRICS Technology Transfer Center, Technology Transfer and Commercialization Capacity Building etc.

The BRICS Technology Transfer Center is the first official cooperation mechanism for technology transfer among BRICS countries. It was proposed at the BRICS Technology Transfer and Innovation Cooperation Conference in 2017 and was included in the outcome document of the BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers Meeting in 2018, the “Durban Declaration”. The Center was officially established in Kunming at the Second Meeting of the BRICS partnership on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Working Group in the same year. India China Technology Transfer Centre (ICTTC) is one of the founding members of BRICS Technology Transfer Center.
