Since its inception 1997, the centre is working to enhance economic cooperation through P2P, B2B and B2G.
ICTC has facilitated many trade collaboration, technical & technology cooperation among Chinese and Indian enterprises. ICTC is providing services directly or indirectly through our partner organization/ Chamber of Commerce to the companies from India and China.
Our Founders & Inspiration
Dr. Abid Hussain was an Indian economist, civil servant and diplomat. He was India’s ambassador to the United States of America from 1990 to 1992 and a member of the Planning Commission from 1985 to 1990. He also served as secretary in the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Heavy Industry as a member of the Indian Administrative Service.
Dr. Sengupta was an Indian academician, administrator, politician and author. He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1957 and held positions such as the Revenue Secretary of the Government of India and Member Secretary of the Indian Planning Commission. He entered politics in 1996 and was elected to the 13th Lok Sabha, where he served as member of several key committees.
He was the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the RPG Group, a multi-sector Indian industrial conglomerate. He was the first Indian to be appointed Chairman of the State Bank of India. He was an M.P. in the Rajya Sabha of the Indian Parliament. He also known as the ‘takeover king’ in his heyday.
